KU's IPSELENTI Student Festival Returns
After a 2-Year COVID Hiatus

Korea University’s annual IPSELENTI festival finally returns after a 2-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The festival was held on May 27th, 2022, and was a massive success as over 10,000 KU students, alumni, and guests gathered to attend the performance, igniting a wave of student solidarity and tiger pride. This year’s lineup included top K-pop artists such as PSY, Jay Park, (G)-Idle, Red Velvet, and more! In particular, students praised the girl group Red Velvet as they participated in KU’s school cheering songs and chants.

Ipselenti - Cry of "Ji Ya" (입실렌티- 지. 야의 함성) is a pep-rally-cheering festival organized and conducted by the Kor ea University Cheerleaders on the last and most important night of Seoktap Daedongje (Granite Tower University Festival). Students typically gather on campus at the Nokji Field or Minju Square and sing Korea University's cheering songs, dance and enjoy other forms of popular entertainment. The festival has a long history at Korea University and is often considered a highlight of the student experience, both for domestic and international students.
