Professor Hyojae Yoon (Department of Chemistry, College of Science) has been selected as a 2019 ChemComm Emerging Investigator by the Royal Society of Chemistry.
Chemical Communications, or ChemComm, is the Royal Society of Chemistry’s journal which selects promising professors from across the world as Emerging Investigators every year.
Professor Yoon conducted research on soft materials’ synthesis, surface chemistry, and organic characteristics, and he has been awarded for the successful result of his study.
Professor Yoon expressed his gratitude, saying, “I would like to thank my fellow researchers who have worked day and night, and my academic advisor and co-workers who have given me thoughtful academic advice. I will further dedicate myself to research so that I can become a scientist who contributes to society.”
