KU’s independently organized Executive MBA program was placed 27th worldwide and 1st in Korea (Ranked as Korea’s No.1 Executive MBA program for five consecutive years).

KU ranks higher than New York University (33rd place), Georgetown University (42nd place), and Cornell University (53rd place)

Britain’s Financial Times (FT) announced its 2015 Executive MBA ranking of world’s top 100 programs.

The E-MBA program, an independent program by Korea University Business School (KUBS), ranked 27th in the world’s top 100 Executive MBA Ranking 2015, announced by FT. The program ranked higher than globally-renowned business schools such as Columbia Business School (28th place), New York University (33rd place), Georgetown University (37th place), and UCLA (42nd place). This year’s first place went to Tsinghua-Insead EMBA, followed by Kellogg-HKUST EMBA, and Trium Global EMBA, taking second and third place, respectively. Korean universities included in the top 100 were Korea University (27th place) and Yonsei University (45th place).

The E-MBA’s high achievement in the FT ranking is significant, as it is an independently organized program by KU. Among the EMBA programs that were listed in the top 100, 24 were programs from universities in Asia, but only nine universities, including Korea University, Nanyang University (10th place), National University of Singapore (25th place), The Chinese University of Hong Kong (31st place,) and six others ran independent programs. The remaining 15 universities in Asia offered joint-degree programs with American, British, and French universities.

KU’s E-MBA stood at 26th place in the “3-Year Average Ranking” (the average raking from 2013 to 2015, in which, KU ranked 22nd, 28th and 27th place) which gives a more accurate assessment of the program from a longer-term perspective. KU stands shoulder to shoulder in the 3-Year Average Ranking with the likes of Northwestern University: Kellogg (20th place), National University of Singapore (20th place) and Columbia Business School (28th place).
